Sarah Magnolia "Maggie"GARLAND married Joseph Elihu RICKMAN 16 Feb 1888, Joseph was the son of Jesse Harrison Rickman born 21 May 1823. Joseph ans Sarah had 8 children Luther Frank 20 Mar 1889, Lassie Magnolia 1891,Annie 30 Oct 1893, Lucy Bell 26 Sep 1896, Corrie Joe Rickman 24 Jan 1900, Jesse Newland 1 Jul 1908, Claude Byron 1906, and Harold Forrest Rickman 6 Jan 1909 all born Rabun Co. Georgia.Jesse Harrison,s Father was Martin, his father was Jesse B.born 2 May 1770 Charles Co. Virginia.

SECOND GENERATION

1. Luther Frank Rickman was born on 20 Mar 1889 in Rabun Gap, Georgia and died 15 Nov 1969 in Georgia. He was buried in Georgia. He was the Sheriff from Jan 1917 to Jan 1941 in Rabun County, Georgia.

He was married to Stella Nicholas (daughter of Balus Clayton and NICHOLAS Minerva Josephine HOLDEN) on 15 Nov 1916 in Rabun County, Georgia. Stella was born on 2 Aug 1892 in Pine Mt. Georgia. She was a school teacher. She died on 8 Dec 1985 in Clayton, Georgia. She was buried on 10 Dev 1985 in Pickett Cemetery Clayton, Georgia.

4. Lucy Bell RICKMAN was born on 26 sep in Georgia and died in 1987 She married John Audy BRYANT on 29 Sep 1918. She was divorced from Hohn Audy BRYANT in 1942. John Audy BRYANT died on 1 Oct 1980 and was buried in 1980 in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery Orlando, Florida. Lucy Bell and John Audy had 3 children.

Jesse Newland second marriage to Icie PAGE ( daughter of Henry Miles PAGE and Fannie Susan TURPIN ) in 1939. Jesse Newlan and Icie Page RICKMAN had 10 children.

7. Claude Byron RICKMAN was born in 1906 in Georgia and he died in 1970. He had 2 Stepchildren of Mrs. William T. (Dell) DOMEIER and M. Arthur ROBERTS. He was a US Army Veteran and teaching career. He married to Ada lee MCLVEY IN 3 Jun 1950.

THIRD GENERATION

1. Ethel RICKMAN was born on 25 Aug 1917 in Clayton, Georgia and she died on 1 Oct 2003 in Rabun County, Georgia and she was buried on 4 Oct 2003 in Wolf fork Baptist Church in Rabun County, Georgia. She was a school teacher for 25 years in Rabun County, Georgia. She married Edward Villa "Bill" PAGE (son of Edward Franklin PAGE and Roxie MOORE) on 18 Jun 1940 in Georgia. Edward "Bill" was born 18 Jun 1914 in Rabun Gap, Georgia and died on 7 Oct 2004 in Rabun County, Georgia and is buried in Wolf Fork Cemetery Rabun County, Georgia. They had five children.

2. Margaret Josephine RICKMAN was born on 20 Feb 1920 in Rabun County, Georgia and died 14 Mar 2003 in Rabun county, Georgia. She was buried on 16 Mar 2003 in Pickett Cemetery Clayton, Georgia. She received a Masters degree from Western Carolina College was a teacher in Rabun County Georgia schools for 38 years. They had five children. She was married to Carroll BROWN (son of Reverend John Butler BROWN and Maud Anna WILSON ). Carroll was born on 30 May 1913 and died on 25 Feb 1974. He was a WWII US Army Veteran from 26 Sep 1942-Jan 1946. After marriage moved to Warnesville, North carolina and later moved to Clayton County, Georgia. They had children.

5. William Joseph COOK was born on 9 Aug 1918 and died on 30 1989. He was buried on 3 Sep in West Point Cemetery, New York. Graduated from US. Military Academy Jan 1943 and retired from US. Air Force. He married on 1 Nov 1943. They had one child.

1. Audy Veneta BRYANT was born on 12 Aug 1919 and died on 8 Jun 1982. She married Carl SMITH on 30 Mar 1935. Carl was born on 1 Jun 1913 and he died 28 Jul 1952, he was killed in a auto accident. They had five children.
